Touring

Susana performed at the Encuentro de mujeres Iberoamericanas en las Artes Escenicas, in Cadiz, Spain, October 21-24, 2004. Susana's participation was made possible in part through support from The Fund for U.S Artists at International Festivals and Exhibitions, a public-private partnership of the National Endowment for the Arts, the U.S Department of State, and The Rockefeller Foundation, with additional suppor from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and administered by Arts International.

Susana performed and taught a workshop in Argentina (Buenos Aires, Cordoba and La Plata), March 14-28; this tour was funded in part by ASTREA Lesbian Action Foundation.

Everybody thought there were no lesbians in Macondo.

Susana Cook’s 100 Years of Attitude constructs an allegory of worldly crisis which constantly jumps the divide between the surreal and the commonplace.

Performance and Politics in the Americas
Susana participated in the 4th annual Hemispheric Institute encuentro, "Performance and Politics in the Americas: Spectacles of Religiosities," hosted by New York University in New York City, from July 11-19, 2003.Video of Susana's performance is available online at http://hemi.ps.tsoa.nyu.edu/eng/seminar/usa/text/NYCevents.shtml. Susana was one of the featured performers for the Encuentro’s "Come as your favorite Virgin" night.
